The index evaluates major cities of the world based on their magnetism to attract people, capital, and enterprises from around the world, measuring six functions including economy, research and development, cultural interaction, livability, environment, and accessibility.ĭubai’s recognition as the cleanest city was based on its environmental score. Dubai has been named the cleanest city in the world according to the Global Power City Index, a ranking system issued by the Mori Memorial Foundation in Japan.
